Classroom Implications
Socrative allows for real time formative assessment in the form of multiple choice, true or false, or short answer questions. Results can be displayed instantly with a visual graphic. You can use the pre-designed exit tickets and have the data emailed to you in a report or as a google online spreadsheet. Students can also engage in a space race game to challenge each other. It is not necessary to create quizzes ahead of time. You can give a verbal question or project one and have students respond instantly to gauge understanding. Quizzes other teachers have created and shared are available to use. The only limits to Socrative are you can only use one activity at a time and you can only have a maximum of 50 users per activity.
