Google Drive

Students can use Google Docs to compose any type of word-processing document.
The benefit lies in all students being able to write on the same document at the same time.
Google Drive also allows for creating presentations, spreadsheets and forms.


TitanPad is similar to Google Docs, but has a simpler interface and is easier to use.
Students can use TitanPad to quickly compose word-processing documents without
having to use an email address, creating an account or using login.


Edmodo is a free and secure social learning network for teachers, students and schools.
Edmodo provides classrooms a safe and easy way to connect and collaborate, offering
a real-time platform to exchange ideas, share content, and access homework, grades and
school notices.

Wallwisher is an Internet application that allows people to express their thoughts on a common

Critical Thinking and Creativity


aMap is short for ‘argument map’. The idea is to promote the art of arguing by mapping
out debates in a simple visual format.


Smore gives students the opportunity to be creative and choose how they want to share
their knowledge. All they need is an E-mail address to sign up. Since Smore is so easy to
use and navigate, students can create a flyer to demonstrate their understanding of a concept
in no time. By simply choosing from the types of content from Smore menu, students can add
videos, links, text, photos, events, and much more.

An infographic, also known as a data visualization, is a visual display of information through the
use of graphics, color, and symbols. Infographics allow the viewer to "experience" the information
on a variety of levels. In our 21st century world, we are accustomed to receiving information
in small bytes. Infographics allow us to absorb information in this manner.


Tricider allows for debate in an online setting. Participants can pose ideas, respond to ideas,
list pros and cons, and other features.
